Shawna was born in Guyana South America. She came to the USA at the age of 16, Culture shock caused her to retreat and to live in the shadows becoming a people pleaser, insecure, and fearful. To compound matters she became a mother of four by age 23

delaying her personal development/dreams of becoming a singer and child psychologist. However, her determination caused her to set goals to be the best mother and wife as well as to obtain her bachelors degree by age 35. She accomplished that and more by obtaining her cosmetology license, AA-ECE and many certifications.

Divorce was a brutal event that brought fear, shame, guilt, and doubt-which appeared to strangle the life from every cell of her body. Intervention of counseling became necessary for survival. Forcing her to spend time alone and to start honoring, loving, respecting, learning, expressing, standing-up, accepting, recognizing, and growing her self-worth.

Her willingness to surrender to her truth and inevitable transformation came from investing and losing her life savings. No money, job, and diminished friendships was a clear sign that life on this planet for her had expired, Her Source said NO "All things are POSSIBLE" Lets' give this life another try; Love and Healing as her poem stated is what her Creator offered-recollections of her divine infinite nature-she recalled. Life completely changed, NOW that she realized she is not alone 'EVER'. Her book Prism of Poems ' Lost and Found Not from Determination but Devastation' was born and Transformation Healing Coach is now her life's work in all of its forms.
